SOAR Initiative (Skilling for AI Readiness) – Key Points

• Launched by: Government of India.

• Target Group: Students of classes 6 to 12.

• Objective: To build AI literacy and prepare students for an AI-driven future.

• Structure:

  • Program consists of three structured modules.

  • Each module is of 15 hours duration.

• Teacher Training: Along with students, teachers will also receive AI training.

• Goal: To bridge the digital divide and integrate AI education into school curricula under the Skill India initiative.

• Scope: Covers both theoretical knowledge and practical application of AI skills.
